Glorify God Among the Nations - Seeking Him in All Generations
1 Chronicles 16:24

KEYNOTE SPEAKER

Colt McCoy grew up in Tuscola, Texas. He came to UT in 2005, won the starting quarterback job as a redshirt freshman, and held it for four years.
A four-year starter with a 45–8 career record, he finished as the NCAA’s all-time winningest quarterback and became the first QB in major college football history to lead a team to four 10-win seasons. His jersey number 12 is retired and displayed in DKR–Texas Memorial Stadium. He was a two-time Walter Camp National Player of the Year, a two-time Heisman Trophy finalist, and won the Maxwell, Davey O’Brien, and Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Awards in 2009. He graduated from UT with a degree in Sport Management and was a four-time first-team Academic All-Big 12 selection.
After retiring from 13 seasons in the NFL, he has remained deeply invested in Texas and its institutions. Governor Abbott appointed him to the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board, which oversees the state’s public university systems for a term running through 2031. He also serves on multiple boards.
Today, Colt lives in Fort Worth with his wife, Rachel, and their four children. He has translated the leadership he developed on the field into a successful career as the Founding Partner of HPI Fort Worth, focusing on office and industrial investment and development across the region and throughout Texas.
